Located in the stellar surrounds of the Turning Studios complex in the heart of Surry Hills, Sydney, Turning Studios Audio Preservation offers digitisation, conversion and preservation services.  We can digitise from a wide variety of obsolete formats, including open reel 1/4 inch tape, compact cassette tape, DAT and CD.

Our experienced and passionate team will ensure that your archiving or audio preservation is in the best hands. Using professional quality decks with Balanced XLR outputs and Apogee converters, you can be sure to have the most accurate digital copy from your analogue source ensuring the long term usability of your collections.  

We can deliver your material in all digital formats, from uncompressed high resolution wave files to professionally encoded compressed file formats, such as mp3, m4v and windows media audio. We can also transcode your existing audio file collection to suit a variety of purposes. We can service a range of clients from libraries, broadcasters and universities.  

We also offer a tape restoration service for batches of sticky and shedding tape, to ensure the best quality audio is digitised.

For preservation and archiving purposes, we endeavour to provide an exact digital copy of the analogue material. Additionally, we can provide a range of digital restoration and enhancement services to meet specific needs if required.
